Certified
As the world's first to receive IACS manufacturing certification for HDPE-based hull materials, we have established technical reliability through joint development with shipyards and commercial projects.
We plan to pursue certifications such as KOMSA, GRS, ISO after establishing a factory.
- Acquisition of Manufacturing Certification in accordance with the "Guidelines for Polyethylene Ships" (Enacted March 2024)
- We are currently developing specialized raw materials for ships and offshore structures alongside prototype fabrication. To commercialize boat manufacturing using 3D printing technology in the future, we are actively pursuing technical and business collaborations with relevant domestic and international partners.
APPROVAL CERTIFICATE FOR MANUFACTURING PROCESS
[POLYETHYLENE FOR SHIPS]
- The guidelines were jointly developed by EcoMarine and the Korean Register based on EcoMarine’s materials.
- EcoMarine products are currently applied as the standard for vessels inspected by the Korean Register.
Development of International Standards for HDPE Joint Structures and Hull Safety for Coastal Vessels (Planned)
- Currently conducting an international standardization project in collaboration with RIMS and Daehae Naval Technology.
- The project aims to evaluate the structural safety of HDPE materials applied to coastal vessels and establish international standards to strengthen global market competitiveness.
